About Myself ...                     Back to About Us

Jagmohan Singh Khokhar

I was born in Batala city in District Gurdaspur of Punjab State in India on the June 25, 1960 in a Sikh devoted family.

My father, S. Ajit Singh Khokar was a Civil Engineer having speciality in Pre-stressed Concrete Girders.

My mother, Bibi Kuldip Kaur ji was a housewife and she had done Gyani from Guru Nanak College, Amritsar (Punjab), India. She also was a Gurbani Hymes singer.

I am happily married to Smt. Raminder Kaur, D/O S. Avtar Singh Aiden and Smt. Jagdish Kaur from Jagadhri (Yamunanagar) in Haryana, India since 1989.

I have two children as family besides a host of friends and well-wishers who are also like family to me.

My education was centered around Danapur and Patna in Bihar. I had joined the Eastern Railway's Howrah Division in March, 1982. My department was Signal & Telecom. and I was posted at Howrah - the Eastern Gateway of India.

I was responsible for the smooth running of various types of electronic gadgets and systems related to running of trains and for the convenience of passengers and commuters.

I had received applauses and appreciation from my employers from time to time, almost regularly which has provided me with the necessary required for non-stop running of my service train keeping it always on the right track.

I was superannuated (retired) on June 30, 2020 from the Railways after a 37 years and 9 months stint full of adventures.

I occassionally write poems mostly in Hindi, like photography and music especially ghazals. I cherish listening to Gurbani Shabads and also sometimes recite Gurbani kirtan in lical Gurdwara. Electronics has always been my passion and first love!

I am an esteemed Member of Bangladesh Gurdwara Management Board, Kolkata and had the privilege of visiting Sikh Shrines in Dhaka and around multiple times and had organised pilgrim tours for Bangladesh as well as to Shri Hazur Sahib, Nanded with score of devotees. I have also been conferred the responsibility of Advisor for Komagata Maru Martyrs' Memorial coming up near the Budge Budge Ghat in Kolkata by their trust. KoPT and Ministry of Culture is also involved as it is a monument of International fame & importance.

After a lot of thinking and brain storming sessions with none other than myself(!), I had come to the conclusion that I must share my experience, expertise, knowledge, etc. with you all in the form of simple and tiny project prototypes so that we are all benifited in one way or another.

Here are some glimpses of me at my worlplace. Please enjoy by clicking...
